Terms And Conditions
All Bidders Must Register
Before being allowed to bid, all bidders must register with the auctioneers, presenting identification and deposit of USD$2 000.00 for Vehicles, ZWL 600 000.00 for big lots per lot and ZWL150 000.00 for other items which is refundable if all sale conditions are met.
NOTE: Part payments, of any amount will be considered as a deposit.
You Must Pay Immediately
The winning bidders must pay immediately after the auction. Failure to do so may result in financial penalties or the forfeiture of the deposit.
The Auctioneer Determines Bidding Online
The auctioneer is the only party allowed to determine that a bid has been placed. Please Note If you bid for a lot that is not within the required deposit your online account will be suspended and the deposit forfeited.
All Items Sold As Is
All items are generally sold as is, without guarantee made to their value, function or genuineness. For this reason, items are often offered up for inspection for a period prior to bidding.
The Auctioneer Determines Bidding
The auctioneer is the only party allowed to determine that a bid has been placed. If the auctioneer misses a bid, the missed party has no right to have the bid reinstated.
Commission and VAT
All purchases are subject to Administration Fee of 3% for RTGS payments and 14.5% VAT over and above the bid price.
Liability
Once an object has been legally transferred over to the winning bidder, the auctioneer ceases holding any liability over the object. Any damages incurred due to its use or misuse is not the auctioneer’s responsibility.
Items May Be Removed from Bidding
Although items may be listed in a catalogue as being available for bidding, the auctioneer generally reserves the right to remove items from bidding at any time, for any reason.
Items Must Be Taken Away After Purchase
All items successfully paid for by the bidder must be removed by the winning bidder from ZIMRA premises.
Bids May Be Disqualified or Rejected
The auctioneer reserves the right to disqualify or reject any bids made during or after the auction, for any reason.
The Auctioneer Has Final Say
All disputes over matters related to bidding are referred to the auctioneer, who has the final say.
Refunds
All RTGS/Transfer or POS deposits will be refunded within 5 working days.
Online Credentials
Online credentials will not be shared to non-card holders and a breach of this will result in the participant being blacklisted and the deposit forfeited.
